Sometimes I just laugh when I look at peoples SEO efforts. A while back I was having a discussion with someone who knew the guys at Bluff Magazine. They were raving about this genius who was going to do their SEO on a rev share deal, he went on and on about this guy’s track record. Of course, I was intrigued. I would love to simply throw up pages and get them to rank. It would be like shooting fish in a barrel. Well, I was bored today and decided to go check up on their site…

The first thing I noticed was that they had plastered ads all over the site, but what really had me laughing was the duplicate title tags on all of their “money” pages. If you want your room review pages to rank, you need to at least put something relevant in the title tag (SEO rule #1).
