Nice post John...as usual. Routine is a must..seriously its way to easy to let a day go by with very little done. Whether some have experienced it or not, for myself, if things are not as organized as I like I get stressed. Being able to say I need this, this, and this done by the end of the day is making it alot easier to stay on task....plan your week ahead or try to :)

This is tight advice especially for those contemplating quitting their day jobs...sounds like a way nicer paced life..Probably a good idea to have some savings first though in case you become a lackadaisical affiliate! lol

I'm an independent consultant, but because I have long gaps between consulting assignments, I've been trying to figure out the life of a full time affiliate. I work long, hard hours, but have very little return. So, trying to figure out the proper formula is a full time job for me. And trust me, 14-15 hour days at the computer are common; ouch!

Hi John,

Monday was my first day as a Full Time Affiliate. Now that I have more time, I found out that I work even harder, even at nights, although it's just the first couple of days.

I really hope to find a nice balance soon, but first I want to diversify a bit so I won't be depending on solely one source of income.

If you ever like to chat on a messenger, drop me a line at PAP or Facebook and we'll exchange details.

Cheers,

Giorgio

PS: I reinstalled my Mac after a crash and now use the OSX Mail client. I also use it for RSS feeds, including yours. Works great!
